Ok -- agendas are important -- never go into a meeting without an agenda.
HOWEVER - just because there is an agenda, does not mean it's the right agenda.
So if you're going into a meeting where you don't control the agenda, and you KNOW what has to be covered, it's our job (your job - anyone's job!) to make sure that you cover the right things, REGARDLESS of what's on the page.
This takes preparation and thinking ahead. This takes finesse. This takes balls.
But it's this attitude that clients really VALUE and APPRECIATE and MISS when we let the wrong agenda get though to the meeting.
Just a thought.
